The Reidmar Mid GTX boots weigh only around 640 g each – even though they are leather boots. The boots have a medium-high shaft (8"/20 cm) and a regular last width. The boots are equipped with the Härkila wire system and can be easily tightened and loosened using the dial. The closure system is guaranteed; should the wire or dial system break, you can always have the parts replaced by one of our authorized dealers. The Reidmar Mid GTX boots are equipped with a waterproof GORE-TEX Sierra membrane. All boot membranes are tested in a water bath during the production process to ensure their waterproofness. In addition, we conduct a 30-minute centrifuge sample test on 5% of the total boot production to further ensure the membrane is of the highest possible quality. The upper material of the boots is made of oiled nubuck leather, and the semi-rigid Vibram® Campus quality soles ensure high traction. The boots also feature a shock-absorbing midsole for optimal walking comfort, even over long distances in extremely rough terrain. The boots are reinforced with particularly durable material in the high-wear toe and heel areas.
